As we have decided that I will be home with our children for the first four years of life (I'll be working from home as well),
I will be focusing on teaching my children
Developmental skills
Spanish
Relationship skills including consent, emotional regulation, and healthy emotional expression. (Along with my life partner)
Shapes, Colors, ABCs, Numbers, Art, Writing, Reading, Math
Once they are in school, I will be providing supplemental learning
Music History (along with my life partner)
Black History
Science
My life partner will be teaching them instruments
More Reading
My life partner will be teaching them about money
More Relationship skills with my life partner.
Rites of Passage with my life partner, their community, and I
My life partner is the man of my dreams. As I am able to live out my dreams with and because of him.
I will be documenting this journey through our Podcast, YouTube Channels, and Books. Let alone teaching what I learn along the way. As I will also be taking Child Development classes in the spring.
No I'm not pregnant yet. We are just preparing. We are figuring out our roles, our strengths, what we want to be mindful of and focus on. This is Intentional Parenting. And this is only the beginning.
